PRACTICAL PISTOL SHOOTING

Foundation Pistol

The course is designed to develop a solid foundation in shooting. You will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations and will quickly gain experience, confidence and ability with a variety of pistols. The following topics will be discussed and taught during the course.

Safety, fire & movement, shooting positions, marksmanship, use of cover, firearms maintenance, immediate action skills, snap shooting and moving targets.

Intermediate Pistol

Prerequisite, one of the following;

Completion of a Euro Tactical Foundation course

Successful completion of a recognised pistol course

Current or previous military, police or active CPO

The purpose of this course is to teach more advanced pistol skills that will enable the user to be more effective with a firearm and develop such skills as snap shooting, long distance accuracy, the draw, reloads and shooting whilst moving. More importantly, the emphasis will be placed on how to evaluate and judge one’s own skill level.

Review of the marksmanship principals, correction of stance, hold & trigger control, improving reloads, one handed unsupported, weak hand shooting and working in a team.

Advanced Pistol

Five Days

Prerequisite,one of the following;

Completion of a Euro Tactical course

Current or previous military, police or active CPO

This course is designed to develop skills that the student has already acquired, the course will briefly review the fundamentals of shooting. Our progressive method of instruction will cover every aspect of tactical shooting. Topics covered during this course include the following;

Safety, conditions of readiness, marksmanship principles, correct ready positions, immediate action skills, multiple target engagement, use of cover, weak hand shooting, low light shooting and Adverse angles.

Combined Rifle-Pistol (This is our most popular course)

Five Days

Prerequisite: None

This course is designed to develop a solid foundation of shooting skills with both pistol & rifle. You will be exercised in a variety of shooting situations and quicky gain confidence, experience and skill with a pistol and rifle, eventually using both in tactical situations. The following subjects will be taught during the course;

Safety, conditions of readiness, marksmanship, correct ready positions, immediate actions skills, multiple targets, use of cover, weak hand shooting, low light shooting, adverse angles, shooting positions.
